Here’s more good news! Custard, the cat that has lived with us at VCA Companion Kennel Resort and Spa (check out our facebook page) HAS BEEN ADOPTED! Our lovely colleague Erin is taking him home. Stay tuned for updates on how he is doing in his new home!! He really deserves a great place. Granted he was happy to hang out in the catroom but, in reality, a REAL HOME is the best place for him.

I am so glad to hear this. I’ve been thinking about Custard a lot… mainly because he reminds me so much of Macky’s situation (being abandoned). I think it’s probably too soon to take in a kitty, but if it came down to him being sent to a shelter, I would not have let that happen.
I’m so, so glad he found a home. :D

Me too. It broke my heart to think that he’d go to a shelter where they might put him down. So glad that’s not happening!!!
